I was recently at a family gathering of 5 people where i told the chef (my sister) that she should wear a hairnet when she cooks because i found a few hairs in the food.
I did not mean for it to be mean or to insinuate that she is a dirty person or anythign else...i just meant that i found a fews hairs in the food and she should wear a hairnet when she cooks.
Can someone tell me on a scale of 1 to 10 how rude that was??? 10 is Really Rude 1 is not so rude. |

So I recently started playing with MySpace...actually like 2 days ago. Hey Kristen, I went to your personal site and it asked me to signup for an adult pass, however i'm not looking for any adult pictures. I'm more of a live to work kind of person, i work for the government, in the IT security group. It's all very exciting. My job is pretty neat, i track down people that create spam and unsolicted emails and start lawsuits against them. I'm like the email police :) Don't worry you dont have to worry. I just wanted to share with you guys that this past week was most likey the best week i have had so far in my life:
Monday - After a week of trying to get one of my managers to give me a reference for the job i really want, i manage to sit him in a room and personally call the guy asking for a reference (of course i handed the phone to him with the guy knowing that i'm in the room).
Tuesday - I get a call from tthe the guy that i interviewed with at the job i really want, saying that usually they like to bring in people to meet the directors before they hired people but in my case because i was such an exceptioanl candidate and they didn't want to waste anymore time, he was going to offer me the job right now, on the spot, over the phone. After a little salary negotion we decide on a big raise from what i am currently making! Later that i night he sends the contrac to me and i sign it. I am now a Project Coordinator for Wells Fargo
Wednesday - I fax the contract back to him. Today was the day i finally (after a year of waiting) commenced from Ryerson University. I gots my DEGREE. Then i gots my self drunk as shit, then went to see an awesome movie Batman Begins.
Thursday - I got to tell my boss (who said i wasn't ready for a larger role) that i was leaving to an amazing job. I mean he is a really nice guy, although a lot of people think he's a little sly because he's quite the wordsmith. Then later that night i was entered in this local Poker tournament ( i was really excited it was my first tournament ever). It was really cool there were around 100 people there, ranging in skill from never played before to fairly experienced. Although i could have an entire post of all the great hands i had or the great bluffs i pulled off, i'm just going to say i did did pretty good for my first time....1st PLACE!!!!
Friday - On my high from the win the night before and lack of sleep, i got into work a little late (i'm suppos eto start at 11:30, i got there 11:45) and did as little work as possible until around 5:30 where i told my supervisor that i was sick and i had to go home (which both him and i knew was a complete lie) thani went home and had a great dinner with my family.
Sorry for the long post, but like i said a the start of the post "i think this is so far the best week of my life."

So finally this week after promising my mother for 2 months that i would paint the 2nd bedroom, i did. I mean it doesn't sound like much cause the room is only 200 square feet (by that i mean not that big), it should only take a few hours. The only pain in the ass is that in order to paint i have to sleep in thornhill the night before, i'm fine with that too, the only thing i'm not fine is the fact that i have to sleep on this air matress that sucks ass! It's like sleeping on a defective waterbed. Anyways, i finally did it today and it looks good but i'll tell you parent are not always grateful for the work you put in to shit, i mean i had to move this huge bookcase that weighs like 300 pounds (if your wondering if i can lift 300 pounds the answer is obvisoously NO, so i had to empty all the books off the shelf then move the unit, which was equally annoying). So i spent 5 hours clearing, taping and painting this tiny room, and after i think i'm done my mom comes in and says it looks nice but i have to paint the inside of the closet for continuties sake! Who paints the inside of a closet with doors and stuff in it??? I know that i wouldn't...anyways i figured cause i was already full of paint i would do it....another 2 hours! Then after i do the closet she asks me to repaint one of the walls cause it didn't look right...i mean i'm a nice person; so i told her NO! she wined a little bringing up all these issues and other things trying to guilt me into doing it, but i have effecitvely created a filter for that kind of stuff and now i can even turn the guilt back onto her by saying things like "Wow, thanks mom i came here sleep on the FLOOR, for you, to paint the bedroom, for you, and all you can do is complain...i mean if you really want me to do the rest i can but i'm going to have to take a break cause i'm not feeling the best, my back hurst from that crappy bed...) She then doesn't say much more and i can go home...YAY |

Oh ya, NXNE so far this year has been ok...i haven't been blown away (except Stirling)...hopefully we will someone i really like tonight...if you've got recommendations pass them along.

I think there is an art to small talk...i'll be honest i dont understand it. Whenever, i chat with someone on the phone there are always pauses...its not because i dont want to say things its just because i've already said what i wanted to say...can anyone help me and shed some light on this thing they call "Small Talk" or for those of you not that inclined the talking that happens between the talking. I was just browsing Lavalife and noticed that there a lot of people on that fucking site!
It's amazing that so many people need to use the support of a structured support-area to meet the opposite (or same) sex. I tried to think why i kind of use it, and the conclusion i came up with is that i'm a LAZY BASTARD; i think that is the only way to describe it. If i had the motivation to go out (alone) and meet some new people (of the other sex) maybe i wouldn't have to scan through pictures or 75 woman. I mean i can scan the faces of 75 woman walking down the street downtown; maybe if everyone walked around with their "Taglines" i could know which ones to talk to and which ones to just walk by. I think what i'm trying to say is that most things in life come down to a few things: 1. Do things with Passion 2. Sometimes getting lucky (both meanings) 3. Getting a good's night sleep and 4. Not fucking your Bosses Daugter....
I think that sums up my view on life.
Fuck i'm too serious...too much of the time...
